All the teachers and staff are fantastic. Very friendly and polite. Big smiles every morning. A very positive atmosphere at the school and this is totally down to the great team.

My child loves going to school and always speaks highly of his teacher, TA and all the staff at Willow bank.

Fantastic visit! It was lovely to see how engaged the children were in their learning, and how willing they are to articulate their learning to new visitors.

The environment was beautiful but also purposeful. The modelling of handwriting reflected in children's presentation. Purpose for writing was clear and the sequence of learning clearly evident. The EYFS environment and stations were wonderful and clearly linked to the core text.

Reception class was outstanding. Opportunities for writing were amazing and the rehearsal of the story was amazing. Activities in the room all linked to learning about the stories. 

Corridor displays are amazing and work is of a high standard.

Consistency across the school is evident in the way flipchart paper is used in every classroom as models for content of writing and expectations.

Children were able to discuss learning and talk about the journey. Showed great knowledge and confidence.

Purpose for writing was very clear and it felt like this was a key driver in the quality of children's writing. Time given to children and teachers also to allow for depth in their learning and this is again reflective in the quality of outcomes.

Welcoming, kind, friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere when walking around the school. Children I spoke to were very polite, happy to share their learning and able to talk about their learning well. 

Wonderful welcome from the Class Ambassadors who were able to clearly and confidently explain both their learning and the context of their learning. All of the work was beautifully presented and all of the children were confident discussing what they had been doing. 

The training session was amazing. It gave me a greater insight into how scaffolding can have an amazing effect on the children's learning. The learning walk allowed me to see this first hand. Children were all engaged and being encouraged to critically think about and share ideas.
